NOTHING BEATS HOME

Having a cigarette down to break a long lasting day @ work…..socializing with ppl, a person who looked chinese to me saying with his own accent   “maaan, nothing beats home”…  So i asked him whats the thing he misss the most back home…..

He answered : my mom’s cooking in the kitchen, dad missing around with the garden, college days, the weather…

 So i quickly responded, is the weather at china or japan where u from !! way different from here?  ………..he answered :  I MEANT INDIANA….WHERE U FROM?

backed off a bit….JORDAN JORDAN JORDAN…..

Then he asked if i feel home sick and whats the most i missed…

didnt’t take me too long to answer that, in a heart beat in addition to what he mentioned…….i answered….running into friends without planning, seeing them places, socializing with the ones you belong to….

He said : naaaah, you can’t find that here………..

    Always romantic and filled with feelings of home-sickness…
    Man they should make a soap-opera about your life…. way from the beginning of school days… our basketball and tennis matches (for the record, I always used to beat you :P )…. right into college days… and your *sick* :P adventures …. and then your life as a pro business analyst in the US and your bumping into chinese-looking American people…
    It all fits to be made one reaaally good and looong soap-opera with only one difference… lack of girls :P :P:P:P
    Sorry I had to say that… it’s just too good to be kept inside my mind… :P :P
    Maaaaan….miss you!!!
